Press release from Italian Partner
An European Project aimed at foreign language teachers for an ad hoc provision of differentiated teaching tools. This is the new challenge of the training agency Forium in Santa Croce sull’Arno. This is a concrete plan that will lead, in the coming months, to the creation of a digital library available to new recruits from schools. With this project, called “PLGE: Personalised Learning Group Environment”, the most advanced information technologies will be used in such a way that each class, with its own specificity, can have the right tools to learn the most foreign languages. Forium is the only Italian partners of this project involving a total of five European countries. Partners include Stowarzyszenie Centrum Wspierania Edukacji i Przedsiębiorczości (Poland), Eurospeak Language Schools Ltd (UK), Quarter mediation (Netherlands) and Instalofi Levante Sl (Spain). The first materials will be available on a dedicated web platform.
“In recent years – explains Tiziana Reali, Forium’s representative for European projects – interest has been channelled especially into school and non-school learning. The materials produced and those being made are aimed at teaching staff and students of all ages.”
